Drive for watercraft with screw propulsion combined with trim arrangement

The screw or propeller is surrounded by a tubular section which is rigidly attached to the housing for the drive of the screw. The tubular section forms a jet. The cross-section of the throughflow area of the jet reduces when taken in the direction from water inlet to outlet. One or more trimming rudders are mounted at the outlet of the tubular section. The rudders run normally parallel to the cross axis of the craft but can swing, in the plane of the outlet of the jet, over an angle of 180 degrees. Alternatively, the whole tubular surround of the screw can be rotated over 180 degrees.
