Method for application of surface material to wooden workpieces

The timber material consists of an uncoated chipboard material with close grained cover layer and coarse structured core section. After profile cutting, a timber like paper length is glued at least over the cut core section. The paper coated part is then ground down to the raised core points, partially removing the paper. The surface material is then applied. The paper has visible timber or wood pulp particles. Its thickness, elasticity, and structure are such, that the raised points of the core section can impress themselves.
