Waste material disposal system using organic acids

No heat-treatment is used at temperatures melting heavy metals, salts etc. for immobilisation by glazing. During the different stages of heat treatment, the products are relieved of pollutants, and are formed into solids or mixtures of solids and liquids which can be legally tipped onto dumps for domestic rubbish or others legally approved. Material in coarse granular form such as slag can be ground down to a particle size of between 0.1 and 4.8 mm. before hydraulic, mechanical and chemical treatment.
