A beaker or tube filled with tea leaves is placed under the hot water outlet of the coffee maker. The beaker can have a flange for taking a handle to allow the beaker to be used as a drinking beaker. The inclined wall of the beaker can be enclosed by a second wall with lugs to allow the hot beaker to stand safely on a surface. An overflow beaker can be set about 3 mm away from the tea leaf beaker. The overflow pipe should be shorter than the infusion pipe depending on the tea leaf filling and the rate of through flow. Spacer ribs can be formed in the wall.
