A pharmaceutical composition for lowering the blood pressure and a process for the preparation thereof

In the present invention there is disclosed a pharmaceutical preparation for reducing blood pressure. Being in the form of a spraying solution of nifedipine it contains 1 to 5 percent by weight nifedipine, 5 to 24 percent by weight Poly(ethylene glycol), 50 to 70 percent by weight ethanol, 10 to 30 percent by weight propylene glycol and 0.1 to O.5 percent by weight admixtures. In addition to usual nifedipine solutions it contains 2 to 4 percent by weight ethyl oleate based on the preparation total weight.
