Lock for securing bicycles

The lock has a casing (2) which is, or can be, rigidly connected to a frame tube (R), and which contains a locking section (4). It is fitted with entry and exit sleeves (5,6) for accommodating the cables (7,8) which operate the brakes and the gearchange. The locking section (4) has a lock element (11) with a clamping surface (12), which is connected to a lock (16), and which can jam the cables against a rigid clamping surface (9). The cable may be only slightly sleeved in the region of the clamping position, and the core (8) of each cable may be accommodated in recesses in the casing.
