The computer theft prevention device includes a pin pushed through an openable casing in a computer associated with a chassis covering a component prone to theft within the casing. The first component is located on the outside of the casing and the second is inside the casing. A container with a marking substance is arranged in the second component. The container is formed so that on activation of the pin the marking substance is released. A release component is arranged projecting out of the second component and in such a relationship to the container that the release component, in response to external effect, causes the container to release the marking substance. The pin in a first end is lockably connected with the first component. A part of the pin locates against the container. |
