An arrangement having a raisable and lowerable working platform. The arrangement includes an elongated, load bearing construction (1) which is intended to be supported in a substantially upstanding position, normally while defining an angle with the vertical line, and at least one working platform (3) that can be moved along the construction. The arrangement also includes a spring device (20) which is connected to the platform (3) and which is adapted so that energy is stored therein as the platform (3) moves downwards. This energy is then utilized as a lifting force as the platform moves upwards. A transmission means is coupled between the spring device and the platform (3) and functions to shorten the requisite length of movement of the spring device. |
