<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the assembling accuracy of a vehicle body by tacking parts in a tacking stage, after the parts being held by a hanger has been gathered and positioned so as to form the skeleton of a vehicle body in appearance as a whole. CONSTITUTION:In a floor main line 30, it is so arranged that workpieces are sequentially conveyed by a shuttle bar, and in this line 30, a stage Fa in which rear floors are put in, a stage Fb in which engine compartments are put in, and a stage Fc in which front floors are put in are installed. The floors formed in the floor main line 30 are transferred up to the last stage Fk, where they are held by a workpiece hanging truck and transferred to stages Gb, Gc. The vehicle body parts having been transferred up to the stage Gc are in such a state as the parts are gathered to almost form the skeleton of a vehicle body, and in this state, in a stage Gd, they are tacked with the parts having been transferred from a body main line.</p> |
