<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate satiable recovery from paper jamming during double-sided printing with the use of a printer with no double-sided printing machine by outputting print data for at least one surface of a sheet causing paper jamming. CONSTITUTION:When a driver 5 is started by a supra 2, single-sided printing or double-sided printing having been previously set by a printer setting dialogue 4 is carried out. If it is set that the double-sided printing is nullified, the driver 5 delivers language to be printed on a page, stored in a temporary file 3 to a printer 7 through the intermediary of a DATA signal 6. After data for a single page is completely delivered, when an END signal 8 is received, data for the next page is then delivered. With the repetitions of these steps, language to be printed on all pages, stored in the temporary file 3, is completely delivered. When a JAM signal 9 is received, the driver 3 displays this matter so as to urge the operator to remove paper jamming. When a line feed key is depressed after removal of the paper jamming, the driver 5 delivers again data on a sheet by which the paper jamming is caused.</p> |
