PURPOSE: To provide a method and a device which are used in an automatic optical inspection device of a printed circuit board and can compensate local distortion of the printed circuit board. CONSTITUTION: A distortion compensation method in an automatic optical inspection device of a printed circuit board includes a step in which a data base signal on CAD design of a pattern constituent element on the printed circuit board is received as a pixel group signal which corresponds to a condition transition of pixel groups arranged per scanning line, a step S66 at which the printed circuit board is divided into small tile regions and the signal is obtained as a plurality of small tile region design signal arrays, a step S64 at which a data base signal which is scanned actually is obtained as a plurality of small tile region actual scanning signal arrays in the same way as the database signal on design, by scanning the printed circuit board which is completed, a step S70 at which arrays of the signal on design and the signal which is scanned actually are compared, a step at which a distortion vector signal which indicates positional changes of an actual position of a pixel of a pattern constituent element on the printed circuit board which is completed and a position on design is generated, and a step S74 at which a signal which is sent to the automatic optical inspection device and removes positional changes of the pixel which is scanned is generated. |
