PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for flattening an inflation film tube comprising a thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION: A flattening apparatus, having at least two flattening pinch rolls and flattening an inflation film tube to form a flat tube and folding back devices, having turning bars 6 and direction converting rolls 7 belongs to a fundamental structure. The folding-back devices can be shaken independently before and behind with respect to a vertical axis line in synchronous relation to the shaking motion of the flattening pinch rolls. The draw-out device is fixedly arranged along with a horizontal drawing-out roll. The folding-back devices have three shaking surfaces 1, 2, 3, comprising the turning bars 6 and the direction converting rolls 7 within the axial line region of the flattening pinch rolls and are independent mutually but driven reversibly with respect to the vertical line in synchronous relationship. The turning direction of a flat tube strip 4 running to the turning bars 6 and that of the flat tube strip issuing from the turning bars are respectively at most 30 deg.. |
