PURPOSE: To reduce the current spike of a stator winding by providing a current path which selectively discharges a current from a circuit compensating the output of a voltage amplifier. CONSTITUTION: A voltage comparator 110 receives an input voltage VIN and compares it with the detection voltage of a feedback loop 160, which is proportional to the current of a coil 145. The output of the comparator 110 is supplied to a compensating circuit, having an integrator composed of a resistance 115 and a capacitor 120 and a compensating circuit discharging switch 170. When commutation, i.e., a power disabled state is caused and it is desired that a flow of current is removed, switches 130 and 135 are placed at '0' positions at the same time. Consequently, the capacitor 120 is grounded through the switch 135 and an amplifier 140, and 0 V output is supplied to a transistor 150, which is turned off. Consequently, the current spike of the stator winding is reduced. |
