发明名称 SEPARATION OF NITROGEN FROM CARBON DIOXIDE BY USING CERAMIC AS SEPARATING MATERIAL
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To separate nitrogen from carbon dioxide in a high temp. state by using a heat treated sepiolite as a separating material. CONSTITUTION:Nitrogen is separated from carbon dioxide in the high temp. state by using the sepiolite heat-treated at <=800 deg.C as the separating material. For example, a sample packing column 1, a heating furnace 2, a temp. control system 3, a gas chromatography 4, a pen recorder 5 and a nitrogen/carbon dioxide injection opening 6 are provided. Five gram sepiolite is packed in the column 1 composed of a stainless pipe 3mmphi in minor diameter and 1m in length. Next, the sepiolite in the column 1 is calcined at 300 deg.C for 1-2hr while passing helium of 20cc/min as a carrier gas. After that, a sample is adjusted to a measuring temp. and 2cc of mixed gas of nitrogen and carbon dioxide is injecting with a microsyringe from the injection opening 6 and simultaneously recording is started. The retention times (the time from the absorption to the desorption of the gas on the surface of the sepiolite) of nitrogen and carbon dioxide are measured and separative power is increased with the increase of the deference in retention times.</p>
