<p>PURPOSE:To effectively micronize a bubble and to solve the problems such as the back flow and blow-by of bubbles, vibration and noise by specifying the thickness of the rear edge of the plural blades constituting an axial-flow impeller with respect to the diameter of the impeller. CONSTITUTION:This agitated aerator is provided with a draft tube 5 vertically arranged in a treating tank 4, an axial-flow impeller 6 positioned in the draft tube 5 and rotated by a motor 1 through a driving shaft 2, an air diffuser pipe 3 arranged below the impeller 6 and connected to a blower 8 and a flow straightening member 7 arranged below the diffuser pipe 3. Further, the thickness (t) of the rear edge of the plural blades 9 constituting the impeller 6 is controlled to 0.0265-5.25% of the diameter of the impeller, and the impeller of this structure is used to adjust the voltex frequency at the impeller outer peripheral velocity of 5-15m/sec and at 0.7R to 500-6000Hz.</p> |
