PRINTING DEVICE AND PRINT HEAD TEMPERATURE COMPUTATION ESTIMATING METHOD

PURPOSE:To obtain a printing device which can improve competing force in upgraded consumable goods such as ink and print head by providing a means for computing/estimating temperature transition of a print head and capturing a computation estimating parameter from the outside. CONSTITUTION:A controller 10 in a printing device comprises a microprocessor unit (MPU) 11, a read only memory (ROM) 12 which stores a control program to be executed by the MPU 11, a dynamic type random access memory (RAM) 13 which stores various data, and a gate array (GA) 14 which controls feeding of the data to a print head. An interface 15 is to be connected to the GA 14. The interface 15 is provided for inputting a print signal and a temperature computation parameter from an external device 16.
