PURPOSE:To reduce a unit price of an exchanging tank and print in quantity also after the tank is separated, by forming it of a head part having a vacuum generating section and a separable tank section having only ink. CONSTITUTION:An ink 5 moves to a vacuum generating section 1b in a record head 1 through an ink passage 7 as shown by an arrow A and fills an ink absorbing body 3 gradually. The atmosphere enters an ink tank 4 passing through an atmosphere communicating opening 8 arranged in the vacuum generating section 1b through a ventilation passage 6 as shown by an arrow B, and injection of the ink 5 shown by the arrow A is accelerated. When filling the vacuum generating section 1b as a vacuum generating mechanism with the ink is in a state that a gas-liquid interface is at a position lower than the passage 6, reduction of the ink and the atmosphere is done through the passage 6, so that the ink can be supplied smoothly. |
