<p>PURPOSE:To easily search for a desired directory in a short time. CONSTITUTION:Plural directories (shown with ellipses) for managing files (shown with rectangles) have their layer levels predetermined and mutually relative directories which are different in layer level, are linked to form a hierarchical structure. Once a retrieval range is specified by specifying a reference directory for retrieval, the border (layer level-2) of a retrieval range which is represented as the difference in layer level from the reference directory and on the high- order layer side above the reference directory, and the border (layer level-2) in a retrieval range on the low-order layer side, directories and files present in the specified retrieval range are retrieved and the retrieved directories and files are displayed in a window 40 so that their link state can visually be recognized.</p> |
