WINDOW MOLDING FOR VEHICLE AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PURPOSE:To provide a window molding for vehicle which can improve the appearance and realize flash surface and a manufacturing method thereof. CONSTITUTION:A window molding 8 to be mounted between a peripheral fringe of a front window panel 9 and an opening of a car body panel consists of a molding main body 11 and a leg portion 12 in a roof upper RU section. In a pillar side PS section, an insert member 19 which makes the molding main body 11 and the leg portion 12 into a fork shape and has a groove 20 for drip between them is injected and molded. In a corner section of the front window panel 9, the thickness of a wall of the insert member 19 increases gradually from the roof upper RU section toward the pillar side PS section.
