SYSTEM FOR OBJECT-ORIENTED DATA BASE MANAGEMENT AND METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To improve the acquisition efficiency of a process which acquires data of the attributes of classes at a time. CONSTITUTION:This system is an object-oriented data base management 101 provided with a data base 105 which stores an object identifier for discriminating an object uniquely and a class having the definition of the object, and the object generated from the class, and a managing means 102 which manages the data in the data base 105. Further, the system is provided with a dictionary service part 103 which manages the object and the definition information of the data of the attribute, a storage control part 104 which stores the data on the attribute or data of the common attribute to plural classes in the same area in the data base, and the object management part 102 which takes attribute data out of the storage control part 104 in identical storage area units and passes them to an application program together.
