The oil pump for maximizing the discharging quantity of the supplied oil with a compact size, comprises a plunger(13) sliding on the inner surface of the plunger housing(15), being touched with the groove formed on the outer periphery of the following gear(12), internally engaged with the driving gear(11); spring(16) mounted between the spring and the plunger housing(15); secondary suction/discharge ports(19)(20) provided among the groove of the following gear, inner surface of the pump casing(14) and the plunger housing; primary suction/discharge ports(17)(18) provided in the driving gear, respectively connected with the secondary ports; pump casing(14) including the driving/following gears(11),(12), plunger(13).
