PURPOSE:To eliminate trouble which is caused by toner sticking to a transfer roller. CONSTITUTION:The image-forming device is equipped with: an original platen on which an original is placed; a pressing plate which is opened/closed with respect to the surface of the original platen; an image carrier on which a toner image is formed from the original placed on the original platen; and a transfer means which is pressed to the image carrier, is applied a voltage, applies charges to a transfer material passing between the image carrier and itself, and transfers the toner image on the image carrier to the transfer material. The image-forming device is provided with a detection means 26 which detects the opening/closing of the pressing plate; and a control means 28 which, based on information from the detection means 26, controls the voltage applied to the transfer means. |
