PURPOSE:To provide the novel paper feed roll and paper feeder capable of stably delivering paper even in long use and with the contamination of the opposite material such as paper clamped by the rolls reduced by remarkably correcting the defects of the conventional technique in physical properties and operability at the time of using a large amt. of oil to obtain a low-hardness rubber material suitable to the paper feed roll. CONSTITUTION:In the paper feed roll 1 needing a low-hardness rubber material 3, the rubber material 3 is a rubber composition contg. a low molecular holding medium material complex (A) contg. a low molecular material and a medium material and rubber (B), the low molecular material has <=5X10<5> centipoise viscosity at 100 deg.C, and the difference between the solubility parameters of the low molecular material and medium material is controlled to <=3.0, the weight ratio of the low molecular material to medium material to >=1.0 and the difference in solubility parameter between the low molecular material and rubber material to (B) <=4.0. The paper feed roll 1 and paper feeder are formed by the composition. |
