摘要 PURPOSE:To enable the correction of a zero point even during the running by correcting the zero point of a gyroscope when the speed of a vehicle is high while the bearing measured by a bearing measuring means fails to change hourly. CONSTITUTION:An I/O interface 18 sends signals from a GPS receiver 11, GPS demodulator 12 and a vehicle speed sensor 14 to a microcomputer 19. An A/D converter 19 sends signals from a piezoelectric vibration gyroscope 15 and an altitude sensor 16 to the microcomputer 19. The microcomputer 19 calculates the bearing of the gyroscope from an output data of the gyroscope 15. On the other hand, a bearing measuring means detects a relative speed of a plurality of satellites and a vehicle from signals emitted from the plurality of satellites to measure a reference bearing of the vehicle. A zero point correction means performs a correction of a zero point with an output signal of the gyroscope 15 as zero when the speed of the vehicle is high while the bearing measured by the bearing measuring means fails to change hourly thereby enabling the correction of the zero point of the gyroscope 15 even during the running.
