PURPOSE:To provide a card edge connector capable of making a connection with small force and preventing the deformation of a conducting terminal. CONSTITUTION:A rotary shaft 25 and a cylindrical bearing 31 are formed on the inside face of a box-shaped outer housing 20 and the outside face of an inner housing 30 storing a conducting terminal 41, and both of them are combined and rotatably held. A notch 31a is formed on the side of the inserting direction of the peripheral wall of the bearing 31, the notch 31a is pressed to the rotary shaft 25 when the inner housing 30 is inserted, and both of them are assembled. A spring member 42 excites the inner housing 30 in the direction to separate a contact section 41a from a terminal 51a, and the end section 51 of a printed board is brought into light contact with the contact section 41a when the end section 51 of the printed board starts to be inserted into the outer housing 20. When the end section 51 of the printed board is thrust to the deep portion, a guide cam 55 formed on a hood 52 surrounding the end section 51 rotates the inner housing 30 to the side of the end section 51 and strongly presses the contact section 41a against a terminal 51a connect them.
