摘要 PURPOSE:To quantitatively and automatically measure and display two-dimensional blood flow velocity, blood flow direction and scattering even in a part not provided with fixed directivity for a flow of blood such as the heart, etc. CONSTITUTION:A CFM arithmetic part 3 which inputs a reception signal from an ultrasonic wave transmission/reception part 2 and finds the flow velocity of blood by detecting a frequency shift component by the Doppler effect and performs an arithmetic operation to display the magnitude of flow velocity on a two-dimensional cross section is provided with a delay circuit 8 which matches a timing by supplying delay time to one of reception signals in an ultrasonic beam provided with deflection angles in at least two directions transmitted/received from a probe. In this way, this instrument is provided with a measuring means 9 which finds the flow velocity of blood, the blood flow direction and scattering of the flow of blood of a measuring object by a blood flow component measured by the angle formed by the ultrasonic beam transmitted/received from the probe and provided with deflection angles in at least two directions and the deflection angle of each ultrasonic beam, respectively.
