PURPOSE:To make a temperature and a difference in temperatures visually recognizable for an operating user, by detecting temperatures at an endothermic- side insulating plate and a radiating-side insulating plate in a thermoelectric element. CONSTITUTION:In a thermoelectric element 101, a plurality of n-type and p-type semiconductors are connected in series. The alternately connected parts are fixed to an endothermic-side insulating body, and the other alternately connected parts are fixed to a radiating-side insulating-side body. An energy storing unit 102 is used for storing energy caused by electromotive force of the thermoelectric element 101. In a radiating temperature detecting circuit 103 a temperature is detected by using a sensor at the radiating-side insulating plate. In an endothermic temperature detecting circuit 104 a temperature is detected by using a sensor directly fixed to or embedded in the endothermic-side insulating plate in the thermoelectric element 101. A difference in temperatures on the radiating- and endothermic-sides is calculated by a temperature difference detecting circuit 5, and the difference in temperatures is indicated on a display unit 107 by using a display driving circuit 108. |
