PURPOSE:To provide a buckle device with a switch that has high reliability in the operation of the switch and that is small in size and low in cost by providing a pair of fixed contacts being in contact with a movable contact so that the distance between the fixed contacts is gradually narrowed in the direction of tongue engagement or tongue releasing. CONSTITUTION:A pair of fixed contacts 30, 30 have a springlike property, and they are fixed by the recessedly cutoff parts 16, 16 of a buckle base 11 respectively so that they are opposite to each other. These fixed contacts 30, 30 are formed in such a way that the distance on the inserting side of a tongue plate 80 is narrow and that it is gradually increased toward the fixing member fitting side, and the shortest distance between the fixed contacts 30, 30 is made shorter than the length of a movable contact 32. The movable contact 32 that is moved together with an ejector 50 moves while sliding with the fixed contacts 30, 30 until it reaches a prescribed position, so that even if any additive such as dust attaches the contacts 30, 30, and 32, it can be scraped off. Since the distance between the fixed contacts 30, 30 is gradually narrowed, the contact pressure between both the contacts 30, 30 and the contact 32 can be increased. |
