PURPOSE:To respond not in a room where a video telephone set with an intercom master unit function is installed but in the room provided with a slave unit and to perform the voice recording of a visitor message and picture recording by lighting an entrance light interlocked with the calling button of an intercom slave unit even for a nighttime visitor at the time of staying at home and at the time of absence. CONSTITUTION:When the calling button 33 of an entrance slave unit 29 with a camera is pushed, by using the chime of the video telephone set 14 with the intercom master unit function or the slave unit 25, the arrival of the visitor is informed. When the telephone set 14 or the slave unit 25 responds, an extension line is attained. When a response is performed by the telephone set 14, video signals generated by the camera 30 of the entrance slave unit 29 with the camera and voice signals from a microphone 32 are outputted to the CRT 15 and the receiver, the speaker 17, of the handset 19 of the telephoen set 14 inside the room. Also, the voice signals from the transmitter, the microphone 18, of the telephone set 14 are outputted to the speaker 31 of the slave unit 29 outside of the room. When the response is performed by the slave unit 25, only the voice signals are transmitted and received through the telephone set 14. |
