PURPOSE:To fix a handle in a backlash free state by setting a handle consisting of a grip part and a fitting part protruding in a lateral direction to the interior of a mold forming a handle attaching recessed part so that the tip of the fitting part is positioned at the deepest part of the recessed part and performing blow molding within the mold. CONSTITUTION:A handle 3 consisting of a grip part 31 and a fitting part 32 protruding in a lateral direction is preset to the interior of a mold forming a handle attaching recessed part 2 to the side surface of the upper part of a bottle 1 so that the tip of the fitting part 32 is positioned at the deepest part of the recessed part 2 and the blow molding of the bottle 1 is performed within the mold and the tip of the fitting part 32 is engaged with the wall surface 11 of the bottle 1 to attach the handle 3. Projections 42 rising upwardly and downwardly are provided to the tip of the fitting part 32 left and right by two to prevent the backlash of the handle and the wall surface 11 of the bottle 1 is engaged at the time of blow molding so as to envelop the projections 42. Therefore, the handle 3 can be fixed with sufficient strength without generating backlash.
