The apparatus comprises a handle stopper(103) connected to a main body(101) of the vacuum cleaner, a rotating unit formed on the top part of the handle stopper(103) to rotate, and a connection controlling unit for controlling connection of the handle(102) connected to the bottom part of the rotating unit. In the apparatus, the rotating unit comprises an insertion groove(107) formed in the handle stopper(103), a guide ring(106) having a hook protrusion(109) formed in the insertion groove(107), and a protrusion for fixing the guide ring(106).
