The apparatus is for simutaneously opening a printing plate and a pressing device if opening the lower cover of the label paster. The apparatus comprises the pressing device(2) elastically supported by a spring(22); the printing plate(3) having a left end downwardly supported by a lower end of the pressing device(2); and a locking metal(6) having a step(61) and an elastic member(63) for hooking on or releasing from a step(31) of the printing plate(3).
