Bitumen emulsion suitable for cold prepd. road construction mixes

Bitumen emulsion of particle size 2-8 micrometers (with deviation less than 0.25) comprises: 1) a mix comprising a bitumen of penetration (NFT 66.004) 20-400 modified by a polymer of Mn 100-2,000 having a softening point above 90 deg.C; 2) emulsifier; and 3) less than 50 wt.% water. Also claimed is preparation of the emulsion by mixing in a, or a series, of static reactor(s).
