PURPOSE:To display a list of cover data set up in respective file data within a screen and directly access and display required file data from the list displaying screen. CONSTITUTION:When a cover list display is specified by depressing a 'cover list display' key 12a, a file management controlling part 11 reads out the cover data of respective file data from a file managing part 14 and displays a list of the cover data on a display part 13. When a screen is filled with data, the controlling part 11 displays succeeding cover data so as to overlap them to a part of the already displayed cover data. When optional cover data are selected and indicated on the screen of the list, the controlling part 11 accesses file data corresponding to the cover data from the file managing part 14, stores the accessed data in an editing buffer 15a and displays the data on the display part 13. |
