PURPOSE:To provide an optical element moving device having the high holding accuracy of an optical element holding member at a moving position and capable of simplifying driving control itself. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a CCD holder 14 holding a CCD 55, guiding shafts 7 and 8 supporting the holder 14 so that it can slide in an optical axis O direction, a flexible circuit board 56 for the electrical connection of the CCD 55, and a VCM(voice coil motor) 57 for driving the CCD holder and constituted of a yoke 12, a coil 14b and a magnet 16; and current information against the energizing force of an FPC 56 in the optical axis direction is stored in a memory 59. In the case of holding the holder 14 at a certain moving position, the current information stored in the memory 59 is read out by a CPU 58 and a current based on the read-out information is applied to an electromagnetic actuator 57 to hold the position of the holder 14. |
