PURPOSE:To simply and effectively execute ultrasonic flaw detection on the outer periphery of a shroud body on the more inside than a jet pump in a nuclear reactor. CONSTITUTION:The ultrasonic flaw detector in nuclear reactor comprises a probe mount for mounting an ultrasonic probe which radiates an ultrasonic wave to the body 3b of a shroud 3 disposed at a predetermined interval in the circumferential direction at a plurality of jet pumps on the outside, receives the reflected waves, and detects flaw based on the reflected waves, and a hanging unit which hangs the mount, is detachably retained to the upper end 3a of the shroud 3 and hung from the outer peripheral side of the upper end 3a. Further, the detector comprises a drive motor 11 and wheels 12 for moving the hanging unit along the circumferential direction of the shroud 3, and a bent link 20 so bending the mount as to press the probe to the outer periphery of the shroud 3 on the more inside than the pumps. |
