摘要 PURPOSE:To make effective use of regenerative braking force and operate a mechanical braking device with a weak pedaling force while a regenerative braking device is in a malfunction condition by giving resistance which is opposed to a pedaling direction to a brake pedal, and making the magnitude of the resistance coincide with the pedaling force of the brake pedal to obtain maximum regenerative braking force. CONSTITUTION:When a brake pedal 1 is pedaled, resistance which is opposed to the pedaling direction is given, and an actuator 17 is controlled by a controller 15 so as to make the magnitude of the resistance coincide with the pedaling force of the brake pedal 1 to obtain maximum regenerative braking force in a regenerative controller 3. It is thus possible to increase regenerative braking force in the regenerative braking device 3 when a mechanical braking device 2 starts braking, make effective use of the regenerative braking force of the regenerative braking device 3, and operate the mechanical braking device 2 with a weak pedaling force even if the regenerative braking device 3 is in a malfunction condition.
