The display comprises a front frame (1) formed from a support (10) made in a single moulded plastics piece which surrounds a central opening (12). The support has front (13) and rear (14) faces, two external sides (15) and two internal sides (16) bordering the central opening. A casing (11) surrounds the support to give it a pleasant appearance. The support has a surround (10a) with a perimeter less than the central opening on which the document (A) is placed. The frame has a front transparent cover (20), a frame (21) and a back cover (22) for the document. A decorative sheet (23) can be placed on the back cover which can be withdrawn when the document is to be exposed.
