PURPOSE:To make it possible to distribute an electronic mail to a called party even when a mail destination is converted into error KANJIs(Chinese characters) at the time of KANA(Japanese syllabary)/KANJI conversion in the case of inputting the mail destination by KANJIs. CONSTITUTION:An electronic mail transmitter 3 in a terminal 1 automatically adds the 'reading' of a destination to be inputted to destination information as electronic mail transmitting information before the KANA/KANJI conversion of the destination and then the electronic mail is transmitted to a mail server 2. An electronic mail distributing device 7 in the server 2 retrieves the destination of the mail by a destination retrieving means 8 based upon information stored in a destination managing file 9, but if an error KANJI is inputted due to an error in KANA/KANJI conversion, the destination is retrieved again based upon its 'reading'. When the 'reading' coincides with the corresponding destination, the electronic mail is distributed to a personal mail box 10 corresponding to the destination even when the error KANJI exists. |
