PURPOSE:To provide a nonaqueous secondary battery of which cycle life in charge/discharge is improved by containing positive electrode active material, negative electrode active material including specific chalcogen compound and/or oxide, and nonaqueous electrolyte including Li salt in a battery container. CONSTITUTION:For a nonaqueous secondary battery in which positive electrode active material, negative electrode active material including chalcogen compound including at least one sort of group IIIb, IVb atoms in the periodic table, or Zn, or Mg and/or oxide, and nonaqueous electrolyte including lithium salt are contained in a battery container, a mole ratio of the positive electrode active material to the negative electrode active material is 3.0-11.0. The rage of the mole ratio of the positive electrode active material to the negative electrode active material is 0.3-11 desirably, 4.0-10.0 more desirably, and 5.0-9.0 most desirably. The range of electrolyte quantity/g of the total of the positive electrode active material and the negative electrode active material is 0.05-0.5ml desirably, 0.1-0.4ml more desirably, and 0.15-0.3ml most desirably. |
