PURPOSE:To provide a heat fixing-device which securely prevents offset and holds long in mechanical life, safe and highly reliable. CONSTITUTION:The device is equipped with a fixing roller 1 with a heater 3, a pressure roller 6 pressed against the fixing roller 1, a releasing-agent container 8 disposed near the fixing roller 1, which contains a releasing agent 9, an application member 11 which coats the fixing roller 1 with the releasing agent in the releasing-agent container 8, a cleaning member 15 which cleans the surface of the fixing roller 1 and a contact/separation means which brings the application member 11 and the cleaning member 15 each into contact with the fixing roller 1 and separates them from it. |
