PURPOSE:To provide an electronic equipment device which can perform processing related to the images with high efficiency and simple operations. CONSTITUTION:A tape is reproduced by a VTR 1 of the reproduction side and the reproduction signals are supplied to a reproduction signal processing part 2. Then the audio/video signals SAV are supplied to an input part 11 of a VTR 10 of the recording side from the part 2 via an output part 3. When the tape is reproduced and an index code is detected by an index detection circuit 2a, a detection signal SID is supplied to a microcomputer 5 of the reproduction side. Then the microcomputer 5 supplies a video recording start command to a microcomputer 15 of the recording side via an input/output part 6 prepared for the LANC communication and an input/output part 16 of the VTR 10. Based on this start command, the microcomputer 15 supplies the control signals to a recording signal processing part 12 and a VTR camera control part 17. Thus the signals SAV supplied to the part 11 are recorded on a tape of the VTR 10. Then a video recording stop command is supplied to the microcomputer 15 from the imcrocomputer 5 to stop the video recording operation after a prescribed time.
