PURPOSE:To provide a KARAOKE (recorded accompaniment) device which is equipped with a function to display the part that is muted among the parts of a KARAOKE performance so as to conduct a minus one performance by specifying the part and easily muting a desired part. CONSTITUTION:A KARAOKE main body 1 is a so called sound source KARAOKE which stores the sequence data of respectively different muscial instruments in 16 part musical sound tracks. The data indicating which musical instrument (tone color) is stored in which muscial sound track are stored in a part table. During a KARAOKE performance, names of the muscial instruments which can be muted are displayed on a monitor 2. A user operates a mute switch 6a of a remote controller 6 and specifies the musical instrument which is desired to be muted. The body 1 brings the output level of the musical instrument which is specified to zero, when a muting musical instrument code is inputted from the controller 6. Thus, a minus one performance is conducted by specifying one musical instrument. Moreover, a code name track is provided to the musical data so that lyrics as well as an associated code name are displayed when it becomes a minus one performance mode. |
