PURPOSE:To prevent an erroneous judgement in detecting the signal line disconnection in inputting a rotating signal from a rotating body. CONSTITUTION:The time TMPU and TMPUold required for the cycle of the MPU(magnet pickup) output signal from the rotating body are stored in succession. When the prescribed time can not be measured in the prescribed time, the output signal from the rotating body is judged to be stopped. The intensity of the former required time TMPUold is shorter than the time corresponding to the prescribed number of rotation, it is judged to be the disconnection of the system including the signal line for the rotating body. In short, the unreliable required time TMPU is neglected in the disconnection judgement. The judgement is performed based on the intensity of the former required time TMPUold measured in the stable state of the MPU output signal. Thus, the error judgement factor in detecting the disconnection is eliminated and the judgement of disconnection can be made extremely accurately. |
