<p>PURPOSE:To provide a developer which decreases fluctuation in electrostatic charge quantity with an environmental fluctuation in a copying machine and printer using a two-component developer, has good developability and transferability and is free from character scattering and further an electrostatic charge image developer which obviates generation of image flow and cleaning defect even if an org. photoreceptor having high hardness and good durability is used. CONSTITUTION:1. This electrostatic charge image developer is the two- component developer consisting of at least toners and carriers and the moisture adsorptivity of the toners, defined as x and the moisture adsorptivity of the carriers, defined as y, attain ¦x-y¦<=0.15(mug/cm<2>) and x<=0.5(mug/cm<2>). 2. The carriers are the carriers formed by coating magnetic particle surfaces with hydrophilic titania particles of a hydrophobing rate of <20 and hydrophilic titania particles by mechanical impact force and the toners are the negative charge type toners formed by fixing or adhering fine powder of a fluorine- contained resin to their surfaces.</p> |
