<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a water heater of high safety which enables easy detection of continuous boiling of hot water in a tank. CONSTITUTION:This water heater is equipped with a water supply pipe 4, a heating body 3, a hot water supply pipe 6, an overflow pipe 8 and a heating control means 9 which controls electrification of the heating body 3 on the basis of the temperature of steam passing through the overflow pipe 8, and the overflow pipe 8 is provided with a heat conducting member 10 which conducts the heat of the steam passing through the overflow pipe 8, while a temperature detecting means 11 which detects continuous boiling of hot water in a tank 1 is provided at the position of the heat conducting member 10 being apart from the part thereof being in contact with the overflow pipe 8.</p> |
