AUTOFOCUSING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide an autofocusing device lightening processing burden imposed on a microcomputer outputting the moving amount of a focusing lens in the case of driving and controlling a focusing motor whose control cyclce is short. CONSTITUTION:This autofocusing device is provided with the microcomputer 8 outputting the moving amount of the focusing lens 1 in a fixed period based on the high-band frequency component of an output signal from an imaging device 2, a moving amount conversion circuit 12 dividing the moving amount into the moving amount of the focusing lens 1 of every control cycle of the focusing motor 11, and a motor driving circuit 10 driving and controlling the focusing motor 11 based on output from the conversion circuit 12.
