PURPOSE:To provide a communication system capable of surely receiving a call incoming for a portable terminal where a call inhibited term is set and also improving the call efficiency of the portable terminal. CONSTITUTION:A selective call device 3 is provided with a subscriber memory 306 for storing an address code, personal identification number, call inhibition start time, call inhibition end time, a flag during call inhibited term and message information corresponding to each paging receiver, and this subscriber memory 306 is monitored. Concerning the paging receiver of which the flag during call inhibited term is set, the incoming message information is stored in the subscriber memory 306, the correspondent message information is read out by resetting the flag during call inhibited term, and this message information is transmitted to the relevant paging receiver.
