<p>PURPOSE:To enable a function part other than a downloader to refer to informa tion on a downloaded object on the printer which can utilize the downloaded object. CONSTITUTION:Download information is outputted to the outside of the printer through a communication line. In a step S402, the download information is read out of a download information storage part. In a step S403, the read download information is processing into information suitable for an external communication and also converted into format suitable for the communication. Lastly, the information obtained in the step S403 is outputted to an interface. Thus, a host computer can be informed of the download information.</p> |
