The current transformer is shaped like a torus, has a current path with an incorporated current sensor, and is screened by an electrically conducting closed ring-shaped cavity, filled with material (4) and with a break in the screen in the form of a labyrinthine slit (9). The break in the screen is arranged so as to be effective in normal operation, and to screen effectively h.f. interference, so as to protect internal signal processing from malfunction. |
